Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - The Cybersecurity Center at King Abdulaziz University has launched a cyber awareness campaign under the slogan “Stop… Think Before You Click”, running from October 5 to 30, 2025. The campaign features cyber sessions, interactive content, and engaging competitions designed to promote safe and responsible digital behavior.

The Director of the Cybersecurity Center, Dr. Rayan Mosli, emphasized that in today’s rapidly evolving digital world, protecting information is a shared responsibility that requires collective effort and expertise. The campaign aims to raise awareness of cybersecurity risks, encourage safe online practices, and empower individuals to safeguard their data and devices.

Dr. Mosli noted that the center implements creative and effective awareness initiatives, utilizing methods such as lectures, training workshops, and awareness cards, to ensure effective communication and to strengthen cybersecurity awareness across the university community.

He further highlighted that the Cybersecurity Center plays a central role in establishing robust frameworks for responding to cybersecurity incidents, adopting preventive measures to mitigate risks, and ensuring that all relevant entities comply with security standards and best practices.

The center also continues to enhance cybersecurity awareness among faculty, staff, and students through multiple channels, including email campaigns, social media platforms, and specialized training workshops, reinforcing King Abdulaziz University’s commitment to fostering a secure and digitally aware academic environment.
